Calgon Take Me the Hell Away

During the past few weeks, SJ has:

Shoved grapes down the drain in the front sink

Pulled out kid's scissors and tried to "cut the dog's butt."

Used my garlic press to press a taco

Painted parts of my treadmill white

Spilled his juice in my lap just as I sat down to eat breakfast

Had several tantrums, some of them in the car. He sits right behind me and conveniently kicks me in the shoulder while he's having them.

Poured my coconut-scented body wash, the WHOLE BOTTLE, in his bath water.

Acted so awful in the grocery store that I took him home, left him with his Dad and continued shopping without him

Is there a full moon or something?

Anywho, full moon just passed, didn't it?

I'd happily give you my sister to help out with SJ! :-)

Calgon is a pill you put in washing machines to make sure they don't get damaged by the calcium in the water here in London. What is it in California?

Techie - No thanks. We just had one of "those" move out. :P

Chelle - Do they make it anymore?

Mary - A day off minus child is a lovely thing to have.

Velcro - Here it is, or was, a bubble bath. On the commercials, the harried mother would say, "Calgon, take me away," and then she would be soaking in the bath de-stressing.

East of Oregon - Thanks.

Roxanne - Either that or he is just a turd! Oops, MIL told me full moon is next week so he IS a turd.

Craftydabbler - It is, but it's funny too at times.

Ms. L. - I'll have to request more for my b-day!

Calgon did take me away from it all for 5 days...but don't think it changes one bit when you return!

Most great chefs are unaware of how helpful a garlic press can be when making tacos. SJ is way ahead of his time.

Joke - It was an intriguing mess. :) It did show that he watches me much closer than I realized.

SL - I'm hanging by the tips of my fingers.

Paula - When a zero calorie alcohol is invented, I'm there. :)

Cari - Five days is a good break, but I agree, you walk in that door and it's all the same again.

Liz - That's right. He's a maverick!

I blame the weather! The teens at the library are more wild than usual.

I think there must be. I had the same kind of week with my kids. Little monsters. Find something gooey and chocolate and lose yourself in it. That works for me. I hope your week gets better.

maybe he should do dog grooming and taco pressing for extra cash on the side ;)

Oh, we had a week like that last week. What is it that makes them go completely nuts? I look at mine sometimes and think, WHAT? I didn't sign up for this.

(Whispering) I'm hoping for a better time this week!
