A Sunday Barbeque

This is the grill I purchased on clearance last September. The hubster had to wait until Christmas to receive it. (Ignore the fact the dogs have totally trashed the patio.)

This is one of the seasonings I used. The animals look so happy on the bottle. They must not know what the bottle contains.

This is the sauteed mushrooms. My first MIL gave this recipe to me. She was a dear lady and an excellent cook.

Sauteed Mushrooms

2 TBS butter
1 medium chopped onion
1 lb. sliced mushrooms
A dash of salt and pepper
1 tsp to 1 TBS of sugar, depending on your taste
2 TBS white wine
2 TBS soy sauce

Melt the butter and the onions together. Add everything else over high heat. Stir frequently until liquid is mostly absorbed.

Try to share.

Yummy! You forgot to show us the barbecued meat? Was there a reason for that?

Ty - There were tons of leftovers. I don't know why I cook so much.

Paula - On the bright side, you're getting a chance to enjoy that new heater.

Mom - I purposely didn't show the meat because at least three vegetarians come here. I didn't want to gross them out.

Velcro - If he won't eat them, there is more for you. Hooray!

Liz - I'm craving some right now, blasted diet.

Ms. L. - The only thing that irked me about the BBQ was that I couldn't put it on layway because it was a clearance item. So I had to put it on my Visa. Gack!

It is not fair to us carnivores to be denied the MEAT. At least describe it to us.

Bookworm - I wouldn't cook much either if it weren't for all the complaining baby birds that live here. :)

Chelle - You can come but you have to leave you-know-who at home. LOL

MP - There is no cure for their body functions. Next time it's a lab!

MR - It started out red and ended up brown.
